My Company offers 401k they offer 6% match i never invested in a 401k because they don’t offer self directed 401k and the options for investments they offer i don’t know if they are halal, can anyone help me some of the options they offer i cant find them in zoya to check if they are halal this are some retirement options they offer
If I had to pick one from the list, I’d go for one of the two US Large Cap options and then purify any gains/earnings from non-compliant holdings on an annual basis (see this guide on the Zoya blog to learn how). Using other large cap funds as a proxy, it’s probably safe to assume that roughly 30-40% of the fund holdings consist of non-compliant companies.
It appears the Blackrock Russell 1000 Index Trust is the cheaper option with a lower expense ratio.
