As Salamu aleykum,
what does the Fatwa Commission say about purchasing shares that support apartheid or trade with Israel? Would buying and owning such shares be Haram according to the Ulema? It should also be mentioned that many Zoya users buy shares from such companies.

Not haram but maybe a personal and ethical choice.
The Prophet sallu alaihi wasallam would trade with various kaafir and those who attacked Islam.
In essence, it is not prohibited but perhaps disliked.
I’ll try and find the hadith I’m referring to, insha’Allah.
