I have recently joined a company and I was exploring their 401k stock options (picture below)
I assumed Blended and Bond investment contain interest thus I won’t contribute to those. I also looked at the sock investments but none seem to be a good option either. I thought of FID 500 Index but I have no idea what these top companies are dealing with (i.e. if they deal with gambling, alcohol, etc)
So I did some research and found that the main halal way would be to talk to the employer to ask them to set up a BrokerageLink account option through Fidelity. I talked to mine and unfortunately they don’t have that service implemented nor are planning to set it up.
What can I do in my case? Do I just not invest in 401k? For reference, the employer does 4% match.
