As Salaamu Alaykum. I am new to stocks. How can I do a search on stocks to see if they are shariah compliant or not?
Also, do you know if HCMC is shariah compliant? I am getting asked to invest in this but I want to verify if it’s halal.

You can download the Zoya app for iOS or Android and search stocks for Shariah compliance. There are a couple other apps and websites you can use.
As a side note, any time someone asks you to invest in something, please do your due diligence before investing.

I checked on zoya first but this stock wasn’t showing so I came here. What other apps/websites are also authentic/reliable? Jazak Allahu kheirn for your advice.

Not sure if it’s okay to mention competitors’ products, but another app is Islamicly, and a website with “halal report cards” is Practical Islamic Finance. The other option is to manually review the stock (i.e. core business, amount of debt, amount of cash/equivalent holdings, etc.).
