As the title says I’d like to know if Norbert’s gambit is halal? This is when a dual listed stock is exchanged for one version to another. For example, if there is a stock listed on both TSX and NASDAQ and someone bought the TSX listing, in CAD. They get their brokerage to exchange it for the NASDAQ listed version. Now they can sell the stock for USD. Doing this is a way to avoid currency exchange fees. Is this halal ?
