Welcome, @Hosam! One way to find investment ideas is to look at what the big fund managers are buying and then replicate their portfolio strategy. You can do this easily by searching on a website like etfdb.com to find ETFs that invest in the materials sector.
Let’s take Materials Select Sector SPDR ETF (ticker symbol $XLB) as an example which has over $9 billion in assets under management and has returned nearly 100% in the last 5 years. Navigate to the Holdings section to see what stocks are in their portfolio. Next, research each stock individually in Zoya to see which are shariah compliant. Finally, make a list of the ones that you like and invest in them directly.
