Does anyone know of any platforms or brokers I could use to invest in halal index funds like S&P shariah compliant or any other particularly safe and stable index funds?

Interactive Brokers is available in many countries inc UK. They allow stocks to be purchased in 35 countries. So the Canadian, UK, US listed ETFs should be possible. Likely mutual funds covered from US. but you will have to check that on the broker website

Best UK brokers for that are Hargreaves Lansdown and AJBell.
Best index funds in the UK are ISWD ISDE ISUS, and HSBC have one that tracks Nasdaq 100.
